Like I said earlier, part of the impact has been like a base update with significant visibility changes since 08/04/21. Below, I'll cover some important findings based on what I've seen on sites impacted both negatively and positively. I looked at content that dropped or rose, SERPs before and after the update, compared the link profiles of competing sites in each space, E-Commerce Photo Editing and more. I obviously can't analyze every situation, every site, and every piece of content, but I've searched through many sites in multiple categories.
It's also worth noting that you can definitely find examples of sites that grew but shouldn't, or dropped that shouldn't. Remember that this is an algorithm, so there will always be instances of collateral damage or enhancement.
